AB AVIATION

1. General

• AB Aviation is offered to customers on the express terms of acceptance of these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are deemed to be a legally binding contract between AB Aviation and the customer. If these terms and conditions are not acceptable to the customer‚ the customer is prompted to leave the website.

• All data‚ texts‚ information‚ images‚ photographs or other content on the site are subject to the protection of the applicable law of intellectual property of the Comoros. As a result‚ users can not use these items. Any reproduction‚ distribution‚ modification‚ use or adaptation‚ in any form whatsoever‚ of all or part of the site without the written consent of  AB Aviation constitutes an act of counterfeit. All trademarks (trademarks and logos) and other distinctive signs that appear on our site are the property of AB Aviation or its partners. Therefore‚ any reproduction and / or representation‚ and any use of these distinctive signs are prohibited without the written authorization of their owner.

2. Reservation.

• The booking is only permitted if it is followed by the purchase and payment of the ticket. When the customer clicks on the icon "I confirm having read and accepted the conditions of sale and transport"‚ it is then irrevocably linked to the carrier. This acceptance can not be questioned at any time.

• Remember that air passenger transport is subject to the general conditions of carriage found on our website. We recommend that you read it. For all other goods and services described on our site and not subject to the Conditions of Sale and Transport‚ the responsibility of Aviation AB cannot be accepted in case of occurrence of a case of major force  such as the failure of such providers Services.

3. Air correspondences

Please note that AB Aviation does not operate a connecting service‚ when you choose to book such a connecting flight‚ this will be considered as a separate trip outside the AB Aviation contract and you will need to check in with your luggage for each trip. in accordance with the requirements of each carrier's contract.

It is advised that when booking a connecting flight with AB Aviation‚ you allow at least 3 hours between the scheduled arrival time of the incoming flight and the scheduled departure time of the connecting flight.

4. Cancellations and refunds

•In case of cancellation‚ please send an e-mail 24 hours before the departure of the flight‚ to: moroni1@flyabaviation.com‚ moroni6@flyabaviation.com Depending on the specific fare rules of the ticket‚ we are able to refund you within 30 days after acknowledging receipt of your email subject to your refund request. Refunds exclude taxes and cancellation fees (per passenger)‚ but exclude credit card fees.Only issued tickets are non-refundable.The cancellation must be made via the booking office.

AB Aviation is not able to offer refunds in the event that passengers can not travel due to personal events or circumstances.

For any change in the date of travel‚ please contact the ticketing agency at least 3 hours before the departure of the flight or send an e-mail at the same address to the address indicated above.

5. Registration and boarding.

• Passengers must present themselves at the appropriate check-in counters‚ which normally open 2 hours before departure for domestic flights and 3 hours before departure of international flights. Passengers who arrive less than 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time will not be accepted for the trip and will lose their tickets. It is recommended to check within 2 hours before scheduled departure time. Blind or deaf passengers traveling with a service dog and those checking firearms must register at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time or we will be unable to complete the check-in process in time for your boarding.

6. Baggage

• Passengers are entitled to standard carry-on luggage (maximum 5 kg domestic and 5 kg international) and standard baggage with a maximum weight of 15 kg domestic and 30 kg international.

• For excess baggage‚ each extra kilogram may be charged at our standard rate based on space and / or weight availability.

7. Loss of luggage.

• In the event of loss or delay of baggage‚ a claim must be registered in writing with the carrier within seven days of the loss.

• Liability for loss‚ delay‚ damage to baggage is limited unless the value is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. Some carriers assume no responsibility for fragile‚ valuable or perishable items. Additional information must be obtained from the carrier.

 Private luggage. 

AB Aviation recommends that you avoid including in your checked bag the following items:

-brittle objects such as: television‚ computers‚ personal electronic devices.

- Articles of value‚ or any other valuable object

-Amount of money

- Jewelry‚ precious metals

- Urgent drugs

- Personal Papers‚ Negotiable Security Papers‚ Working Papers

-Passport and identification documents or samples

- Perishable products.

IN NO EVENT SHALL AB AVIATION BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THESE ARTICLES WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE REGISTERED BAGGAGE.

AB AVIATION advises you to take out additional insurance for fragile items‚ valuables and perishable products. 

Special Luggage

AB Aviation recommends that you avoid including in your checked bag the following items:

- Expensive Luggage‚ or any other valuable object

-Amount of money

- Jewelry‚ precious metals

- Urgent drugs

- Personal Papers‚ Negotiable Security Papers‚ Working Papers

- Perishable products.

IN NO EVENT SHALL AB AVIATION BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THESE ARTICLES WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE REGISTERED BAGGAGE.

AB AVIATION advises you to take out additional insurance for fragile items‚ valuables and perishable products.

• AB Aviation can compensate up to $ 200 for lost baggage based on company policy.

• Claims are handled within the legal liability of the airline and must be supported by appropriate evidence of loss or damage.

8. Delay.

The carrier is not responsible for late arrivals. The flight schedules and the airport of origin and destination are subject to change. AB Aviation cannot be held responsible for flight delays due to weather‚ ATC or technical conditions.

9. Dangerous items.

• The gas bottles. Highly refrigerated flammable‚ non-flammable and toxic gases such as butane‚ oxygen‚ propane and aqualung cylinders. Includes butane gas (eg for use with heated hair devices)‚ camping gas and chef's torches

• Flammable liquids and solids such as lighters or heating fuels‚ paint and matches (except a matchbox or cigarette lighter as shown below).

• Poisons such as insecticides‚ herbicides‚ arsenic and cyanide.

• Radioactive materials‚ oxidizing materials and organic peroxides such as bleaching agents and fiberglass repair kits.

• Explosives: fireworks‚ flares‚ smoke cartridges and crackers. Infectious substances such as bacteria and viruses. Corrosives such as mercury‚ acids‚ alkalis and batteries with liquid electrolyte.

10. Visas and passports.

• The user will be solely responsible for any damages of any kind that may be caused by errors in the entry of passport details‚ including their expiration date. A passenger who claims to have an exit or entry visa in accordance with the legislation of the countries concerned and who discovers at the airport of departure or destination that he does not hold a valid visa and / or other essential documents is solely responsible for any damage.

11. Rates.

• All rates are quoted in KMF (Comorian Francs) and are subject to availability. USD / EURO rates can be converted to Comorian franc equivalents using the IATA exchange rate in effect at the time of ticket purchase. Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates quoted are excluding taxes.

12. Infants

Babies under 2 years old will pay a minimum charge provided they do not occupy a seat. Children under 12 are transported at 70% of the adult fare.

13. Unaccompanied minors.

AB Aviation does not accept unaccompanied minors under 5 years of age. Tutors or parents are requested to complete the airline's UM (unaccompanied minor) form at check-in.

• Children two years of age or older must occupy their own seat and pay the published rates.

• It is the responsibility of the accompanying person to ensure that the minor is properly attached to the seat of the aircraft. If an adult travels with more than one child under the age of two‚ but not less than six months‚ a baby may sit on the lap of the accompanying adult and the other child must occupy separate seats and sit in a car seat.

• An adult with two or more babies six months old or younger can not be accepted for travel.

• A child aged two to three can be seated in a car seat.

14. Pet

• AB Aviation does not allow the transportation of pets during the flight.

15. Smoking

• Smoking is prohibited on all our flights. Passengers are also prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages. AB Aviation will take all necessary measures to stop it.

• AB Aviation reserves the right to include technical stops en route due to operating conditions at this time‚ which is in the interest of safety and at the sole discretion of the captains.

• Captains of AB Aviation are entitled to treat passengers who misbehave‚ disrupt or cause problems by any means that the Captain deems appropriate. This may include the physical restraint and‚ if possible‚ the removal of such persons and‚ if diversion has been necessary‚ the handing over of such persons to security or law enforcement personnel on the ground.

16. Medical need

• Passengers are requested to check with the booking office in advance for any medical requirements they require as without prior notice‚ AB Aviation will not be responsible for any untoward incidents.

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Comoros. The information contained in and / or provided on this site is for informational purposes only and should not be used for any other purpose.

• All rights or permissions not expressly granted in this document are reserved.
